
Mrs. Olamide Elizabeth Adeleye is an Arbitrator, a seasoned lawyer with over 22 years of post-call experience, an author and a Real Estate Developer. She has engaged in active consultancy and solicitor’s work and has researched extensively in Property and Land Law, Commercial Law, Corporate Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
Mrs. Adeleye graduated from the University of Ibadan in 2000 and was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2002 and subsequently obtained her LL.M from the prestigious Queen Mary, University of London.
With a CELTA certification from the University of Cambridge and having lived outside of Nigeria for many years, she has gained vast experience (with the rare advantage of a well-grounded world-view) in teaching Communication Skills both to teachers and students of varied nationalities. In 2010, she founded YBA & Co. Solicitors, a corporate-commercial law firm.
As a consultant, she has provided legal support services to companies in the banking andreal estate sectors of the economy. She is the Chief Executive Officer of Heritage Dwellings; a dynamic real estate development company specializing in residential and commercial real estate projects. The company has established itself as a trusted partner in delivering innovative and sustainable development solutions in the real estate sector, attending specifically to the real estate needs of Nigerians in the diaspora. The CSR arm of the company helps to renovate and refurbish public school libraries and also ensure they have at least one computer for the students rather than teaching computer theory classes. From supporting teachers to funding maternity leave for her employees, she is committed to creating a more inclusive and supportive work environment.
Recently she was recognized in London by the GlobalWin community, for her exceptional innovation and contribution to society and was appointed in August as the Global President for the Women Achievers Africa, a social impact community of African women, who are blazing the trail in their various fields, across the world. Currently, the Women Achievers Africa is in 17 nations of the world and still counting.
She is a poet and the author of an inspiring collection of quotes and poems titled, “CANVAS & SCROLL”. She has a soon to be published book written on real estate practices and how to get it right with real estate investment in Nigeria.
